Adam "friberg" Friberg has proven the deagle is not as underpowered as it might seem in the StarSeries match versus ALTERNATE.

Ninjas in Pyjamas lost the second pistol round on de_inferno_se against the Germans, and they bought a few powerful pistols for the eco, including Friberg's deagle.

The Hypnotic Desert Eagle was a good choice for the Ninjas' entry killer. He waited behind the car on banana for ALTERNATE to come and quickly got two oneshots and then pushed for a third one.
